Improving sensory experiences for children and young people in Alder Hey Hospital

Who is this survey for?
Parents and carers of children with:
  • sensory processing challenges
  • and/or autism
  • and/or sensory impairments
who have accessed the facilities at Alder Hey Hospital (within the last 3 years).

We need your views to shape developments to the environment at Alder Hey Hospital.

The aims of the project are to train Alder Hey staff to:

  • Improve their understanding of children and young peoples’ (CYP) sensory needs.
  • Understand the CYP and family journeys
  • Improve the experience for CYP and their families through every part of their journey
  • Gain an understanding of how CYP needs can be supported through person-centred pathways and a more flexible environment.
If you have more than one child who attends Alder Hey and is affected by sensory challenges, you can fill out the questionnaire again, once for each child.

Thank you for your time.
